Enchanted
This night is sparkling, don't you let it go I'm wonder-struck, blushing all the way home
I'll spend forever wondering if you knew I was enchanted to meet you
The lingering question kept me up, 2 a.m., who do you love? I wonder 'til I'm wide awake
Now I'm pacing back and forth, wishing you were at my door I'd open up and you would say
It was enchanting to meet you All I know is I was enchanted to meet you
This was the very first page, not where the storyline ends My thoughts will echo your name until I see you again
These are the words I held back as I was leaving too soon I was enchanted to meet you

Scent of a Woman 女人的香气

Thoughts: Can Lee Dong Wook get any hotter? *shrill fangirl screams*
Music: Junsu - You're Beautiful (OST)
Mood: In love

They ain't joking when they say that some people get hotter although aging, and to that I totally agree. *nods head vigorously* Take Lee Dong Wook for instance. He's 30 this year and 31 in Korean age but omg, he's so much hotter & cuter compared to when he was 24 and when he was starring in My Girl. Even his voice is beyond mesmerizing. I recently, to be precise two days ago got sooooo hooked up with this Korean drama called Scent of a Woman. I haven't seen this type of soap opera in such a long time already since Secret Garden. You know, the type of drama that leaves you breathless, exhilarated, frustrated, furious and sometimes it'll make you jump up from your seat and cheer like a bimbo. Yeah, I know I have. And to think that I thought that this drama was somehow cliche, old and weird without watching the whole of it D:

OK so, if you're clearly not the kind that's into Koreans or hot guys (?!) or maybe drama? then you'll hate it. Cos it's like a melodrama, only a little comedy. Cos you see, it revolves around a woman, Lee Yeon Chae who's already 34 and she has never been in love. Not once. She was bullied around in the travel agency she works for, and one day after involving in an accident, she was diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately, she has only 6 months to live. She got so fed up with life and about being pushed around, she quit her job and decided to make a list of things that she'd like to do in the next 6 months. And on top of her list, it was written: 1. Falling in love, at least once, before I die.

She really loved her job and I really sympathize her for that. So after collecting her thoughts and emotions, she went on a total shopping spree and pampered herself big time by buying all the ridiculous branded goods. Of course, she looks amazing after her total makeover. she was somehow hideous before her makeover, believe me, she looks beaten up by an angry mob And she goes on a trip to Okinawa, Japan. She was pretty much satisfied with her trip so far, until she met the Department Head, which is Kang Ji Wook, played by LEE DONG WOOK :) Although Kang Ji Wook is the only son and heir to the travel agency, he doesn't play macho or head honcho at all. He insists on being the Department Head instead of Managing Director of the company, LINE TOUR. Ji Wook was supposed to gather up information to promote a new travel package in Okinawa. And by mistake, Yeon Chae became his tour guide. Ah, just like any other drama, the whole scene is just too coincidental. They eventually fell in love <3

When they went back to Seoul, Ji Wook is supposed to be engaged to the protagonist of the whole drama, Im Se Gyeong. Okay, although I have to admit that she looks absolutely stunning in her Prada, LV, MIU MIU and whatever big brands, her attitude is like so off that I pity Ji Wook if he were to really marry this lady and spend the rest of his life with her. It would be even more disgusting if they were to make babies. Ewrh. Back to the story, so Ji Wook who was deeply and may I say, MADLY in love, broke off the engagement with Se Gyeong and of course this followed by a huge paralysis at LINE TOUR. And here comes my favourite scene of all time, Ji Wook feels so shaken that he calls Yeon Chae immediately in his red Ferrari errr, Korean dramas have a lot of those super cars and asked where she was. She was in front of his house ;) When Ji Wook reached his house, he stepped out of the car and looked at Yeon Chae straight in the eye, not the strict and stern type, the tender, I-need-a-hug type. And Yeon Chae being puzzled, uttered "Should we ... date?" Ji Wook was so overwhelmed that he pulled Yeon Chae into a hug and squeezed her so tight that Yeon Chae complained of breathing difficulties. Gawh <3.

In the following episodes, they went camping in Wando and had their first kiss. It was really funny because the tent they were in actually collapsed and it totally ruined their kiss. Yeon Chae got what she wanted, she sat on the bicycle Ji Wook was riding and kissed him right on the lips. I really screamed and banged the table at that moment. Haven't seen this type of drama for TOO TOOOOO long. It was uber devastating when Ji Wook found out eventually that Yeon Chae had cancer because he was scared of losing someone he loved, just like losing his mother. Yeon Chae's condition worsened and maybe the 6 months she had might even be shortened. Ji Wook totally collapsed when he found out the truth and he indulged himself to alcohol which wasn't his habit at all. He went back to Yeon Chae and confessed that he loved her. I couldn't stand it, I broke down too. The moment he uttered "Sarangamida", I could feel my nose being prickly, and my vision was blurred, cos apparently my eyes were soaked in tears, my dam of emotions ready to explode any moment. You see, I'm very emotional. So that explains.

I'm currently at episode 12. I have only 4 episodes left until the end of this spectacular drama. I still don't know the ending to it yet, but I really really hope they'll be together, it's a melodrama so I can't really predict the ending. and no, I will not skip to the last episode and last part

I'm under the tree, and I've buried the ring. Until you accept it, I won't take it out. It wasn't hard to wait for 20 years, so another 100 years won't be hard either. But don't make me wait that long.
